Me: Hello! My name is Sylvia, and I am the creator of all these "HookCandy" patterns. I began crocheting about 15 years ago when I was a teenager, after waking up from a dream about a red/black striped knitted sweater, and wanting to make one just like it. Currently I am living in southern Arizona, about 2 hours northwest of Tucson, in a small "eco village" called WindSpirit. I am also the mother of a wonderful little boy named Benjamin Crow =)
The Patterns: The patterns are written to be precise as well as easy to follow. Many of them contain pictures or diagrams to help with certain steps. Most are 2 pages or less so that they can be printed on one single piece of paper. The patterns are tested over and over before being published, though occasionally mistakes do still get overlooked - if you happen to spot any, please don't hesitate to tell me so that they can be corrected asap.
